Cows Come Home

Lindsey Middleton is a Canadian Screen and Dora Award winner. She is the star and co-creator of Cows Come Home, a heartfelt comedy series she created with Katie Uhlmann. Lindsey co-starred and associate produced the internationally award-winning web series, Out With Dad, where she won two Indie Series Awards for Best Supporting Actress and an IAWTV Award for Best Female Performance in a Drama. Lindsey has toured theatre across Canada and Europe and performed in over 50 productions. As a writer, Lindsey is one of the co-creators of the Roku Channel show Just Hysterics, a collective of female-forward comedy sketches. Lindsey also co-wrote Unmute and I Love You and It Hurts with Theatre of the Beat; both pieces were commissioned by Women’s Crisis Services of Waterloo Region and her first play Session premiered at the Paprika Festival. Lindsey was part of the 2023 TIFF Series Accelerator Program for Cows Come Home and is also writing her first novel about her travels to over 30 countries before turning 30. Lindsey was a 2023 Halls Island Artist Residency Recipient. Lindsey is the founder of Belleview Creative Inc., a film and theatre production company. Lindsey produced and directed Best Kept Secret, the 400-person immersive event that marked the grand opening of the Anndore Hotel in downtown Toronto as well as Suite Experience, a large-scale, immersive, theatrical event for the Hilton Hotel. Katie Uhlmann is an actor, director, writer, and the CEO of the production company, Katie Chats Inc. She is also the current President of the national organization WebSeries Canada.

Uhlmann won two Canadian Screen Awards at the 2026 Scripted Television Awards for the series “Cows Come Home.” Uhlmann took home Best Direction, Web Program or Series and Best Web Program or Series, Fiction. She was additionally nominated for Best Writing, Webseries of Series (Scripted) shared with co-creator Lindsey Middleton. Uhlmann is one of Telefilm’s 2026 “Producers to Watch” and recently represented Canada at Series Mania in Lille, France. 

Katie is an alumnae of the CBS directors program 2023 at the Law and Order Studios in New York on the series “FBI: Most Wanted”.

Other select credits produced by Katie Chats Inc include two seasons of the award winning series “My Roommate’s an Escort”, over 3000 episodes of her talk show “Katie Chats”, and the award-winning short film “When you know you…know?”. 

As an actor she has appeared in over 50 television shows and films including CBC’s Workin’’ Moms, Hulu/Family Channel’s Holly Hobbie, and NBC/Global’s Nurses.

David is a veteran film and television production professional, having amassed over 70 credits in a career that spans three decades. As an Executive Producer, Production Manager and 1st AD, David has collaborated with studio executives, directors and producers from all of the major studios, streamers and broadcasters including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, MGM, CBC, Hallmark, BBC, Lifetime, Sony, Global, CBS, CTV and Peacock. David’s recent PM credits include season 2 of the global hit Reacher (Amazon), and season 6 of the Emmy award-winning franchise The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu). David currently serves as PM on the first season of The Handmaid’s Tale sequel The Testaments (Hulu). As a 1st AD, David helmed many high-profile and successful series over the course of his career, including Murdoch Mysteries (CBC), Hemlock Grove (Netflix), Lost Girl (SyFy), Good Witch (Hallmark), Workin’ Moms (CBC) and Rookie Blue (ABC). As an Executive Producer, David oversaw the production of 21 episodes of the award-winning web series My Roommate’s an Escort.

Hari Ramesh is the editor of Cows Come Home. He has collectively worked on 100+ projects over the last decade in Canada and India ranging from feature films, TV shows, documentaries, shorts, commercials and more. Ramesh also collaborated with Katie Uhlmann on the 2024 short film When you know you…know? where he served as editor and executive producer.

2025 Writers Guild of Canada Screenwriting Award winner Keri Ferencz hails from Niagara Falls, and has the love of novelty – and mini golf – to prove it. A writer and producer currently serving as Co-Executive Producer on the record-breaking nineteenth season of CBC’s Murdoch Mysteries, Keri also wrote the recent Hallmark film Gilded Newport Mysteries: Murder At The Breakers. Previous television credits include the international hit Hudson & Rex (City TV), Frankie Drake Mysteries (CBC), and Remedy (Global). Holding a Master’s Degree in Popular Culture, Keri’s writing has been seen in The Globe and Mail, Macleans magazine, and on Pop Matters. A participant in the 2019 Athena Film Festival Los Angeles Television and Screenwriting Lab, Keri has developed projects with Shaftesbury Films, Muse Entertainment, and Front Street Pictures. She is represented by Meridian Artists.
